2. Russey Keo bridge 60% completed
The new bridge will connect NR 5 in Khan Russey Keo to NR 6 in Chroy Changvar with the cost of $35 million (directed by OCIC) and will complete by March 2023.

3. Capital starts heritage buildings survey
The Phnom Penh Municipal Administration will set up a team to inspect and evaluate old buildings in all districts to strengthen the mechanism for protection and maintenance of structures and as a basis for applying for registration as a heritage building to the Ministry of Culture and Fine Arts.

4. SR: 38-roads construction 84% completed
The 38-roads construction in Siem Reap city is now 84% complete, about 2% ahead of schedule, and is expected to be completed by year-end along with the NR6 renovation, a separate project funded by ADB.

Trade between Cambodia and Japan reached $1.5094 billion in the first eight months of 2021, up 11.8 per cent year-on-year from $1.350 billion

6. MOC: Cambodia-South Korea free trade agreement
Cambodia will lift tariffs on 93.8 percent of products and South Korea will remove them on 95.6 percent of imports from the Kingdom.

7. CCV-Svay Chrom Bridge to construct in 2022

8. S’ville sandbox: Gov’t to initiate quarantine-free tourism
Cambodia will implement a sandbox scheme to allow quarantine-free visits for those who are fully vaccinated to Sihanoukville, Koh Rong island and the Dara Sakor Resort in Koh Kong province from November 30.

9. JICA to complete SR smart city planning in 2022
JICA will implement two projects, including the Smart Parking System, and the Smart Scooter pilot project; the study began since 2020 and will complete by early 2022.

10. New fire protection rules for high-rise buildings
The Ministry of Interior has issued a new Prakas to strengthen regulations on fire protection systems in high-rise buildings and building with basements and establish two special teams to prevent, monitor, and extinguish fires throughout Cambodia.
